Harriet Courtney Chisholm was born in New York on 21 November 1849 and appears in the home of her father there as a 7 month old in the 1850 census. The father, Truman Courtney and wife Amanda moved to Texas where he died and her mother remarried to John Rustin. In the 1860 Texas Federal Census of John Rustin and 2nd wife Amanda Courtney, Harriet "C" appears as the 11 year old step daughter to John Rustin. Harriet Courtney then lived in DeWitt County, Texas where on 3rd of October 1866 at the age of 17 years she married Bradford Chisholm. Harriet died in Victoria, Victoria County, Texas on 18th of January 1914 and was buried in the Evergreen Cemetery. I was hoping some kind soul would do a look-up to see if my great great grandmother, Harriet Amanda Courtney Chisholm has a headstone in this cemetery? Thank you so much for your kindness.
