My husband's grandmother was Hazel E. Wright - daughter of Maggie Sutcliff Wright. We have a discrepancy on father's name - I have Harry Grant Wright, then I just heard Wilfred Augustus Wright and now I see you have a 3rd choice. We have they had 4 children: Annie L. Wright, Harry Wilford Wright, Hazel Evangeline Wright, Steele Augustus Wright.

I have recently been in contact with Steele's grandson. (I had Harry Grant Wright - he had Wilfred Augustus Wright). His Dad swears his grandfather's name was Wilfred Augustus - he thinks maybe Harry Grant & Wilfred Augustus were brothers and they were both scouts for Buffalo Bill Cody. When Wilfred Augustus was killed, then Harry grant married her. (I have no clue if this is right and he's not sure either.)

My husband's uncle thinks she was married to Harry Grant Wright, later to an O.P. Witt and then to Alfred Pichot. Do you have any infor on Pichot?

For some reason - Hazel was raised by Maggie's mother, Annie Laurie Allen Sutcliff and her 2nd husband, George K. Kitchen (awarded medal of honor during Indian Wars). I have been trying to find out more about Wright, and why Hazel was raised by maternal grandmother.

I take it you are related to Anne Deussen. I have wanted to contact Deussen's to see if they had anymore info.

My info came from Hazel's son (my husband's uncle). I have a few dates on Sutcliff's, etc.

I hope after all this time you get this and we can share information.
