Randall, If you are still interested, the German Prison Camp was what has been known at the "Country Campus" which was a part of Sam Houston State University. It was, I believe part of the Agriculture Dept. Located on Hwy 19 between Huntsville and Trinity. Several years ago we took my grandson out there to take some pictures for a school project (some of the old barracks, etc was still there). That is when we discovered that Sam Houston State had sold it.
