Mamie Hulda was a dughter of John H. Bowling of Miss - no mother mentioned on death certificate- informant was J.D. Power

Obit further information:
Operator of cafes in Abilene until his retirement in 1936.
born Nov 8, 1860 Davidville, Tallapoosa Co., AL - lived in Comanche before moving to Abilene.
Lucy was the mother of three of the survivng children-
Myrtle Morrison - Wichita Falls
Mrs. Lizzie Wooten - Wichita Falls
Cleve (Cleveland) Power - Big Spring

Brothers:
Jonah of California
Jim of Comanche

The other children were listed as this:
Sam, George, Burrel and Willie Preston Power of California, Mrs. Katherine Smith of San Antonio, Mrs Johnnie Carlisle of Fort Worth; two step children, Harry Carter of Abilene and Mrs. Mary Jones, Fort Worth

So I am assuming the nine children by the obit do not count his step children-

Hope it helps,
Betty
