From "A History of Rural Taylor County" by Juanita Daniel Zachary - they only list one family of Bouldin- Dr. Hammond Bouldin bought land in 1889 at Old Lawn - came from Chappel Hill where he had been a practicing physician - he married his cousin Martha L Bouldin when he was 21 and they had one child Thomas Graves Bouldin- Martha died after 6 years he then married an Eliza L Brownings- Hammond was 64 in 1889 when he came to Taylor County. Not sure if he connects or not but that is one book I have here at the house. Betty |
