While I don't have access to this book if you email a query to smith county genealogical society and request a lookup they should be able to. The book you need is Abstracts of the Smith County Probate Records, Smith County, Texas, 1846-1880 abstracted by Andrew L. Leath (1984) Just as a note (I'm not related to the Ellison's) but on [p. 115] John Jackson and James Jackson were one the of the appraisers on the estate of John and Elizabeth Ellison, dec'd. This record was dated around August 1872.
