I had Day family in 1930 Scurry Co census. My grt-gf John Ceyfus and also his son Bryson. In talking with someone I know she also has a Day line and I think I now find them in Scurry Co as well, in the same precinct as my Dad's uncle Bryce.

Can anyone tell me something about Hubert Pierce Day who was in Scurry Co TX 1930? He and wife Myrle M. were both 19 and listed as from TX; their parents except his mother also listed TX and she was from AL. Dau Jeanine F. (otherwise found Florence Jeanine)looks like 3; also born TX. They were living next door to Alvin C. Day, 60 from TX, parents from Indiana; and his son Wilber(?) D., 25, from TX; his mother was born in AL.

On rootsweb I find:

Hubert Pierce DAY Sex: M Birth: 14 MAY 1910 Death: 27 OCT 1971 in Tarrant Co., TX (long time or retired railroad worker)

Marriage 1 Myrle Marie COOK b: 24 APR 1909
Married: 2 SEP 1928
Children
Florence Jeanine DAY b: 25 OCT 1929 in Clarendon, Donley Co., TX

I had started pursuing a Hubert Pierce Day b abt 1926 in TX whose wife's name I think was Opal. They tie in?

In 1920 Camp Co TX there's a 39 yr old real estate agent Oscar Day & wife Bessie, 35, with son Hubert, 12. They're all born in TX w/Oscar's parents from AL and hers from Missouri.

Does anyone know anything about any of the Day famiies I mention? I think they may all connect. Thank you for any assistance. Sandra
