Thank you so very much. We have looked for him for along time. My grandmother died before he was 40. He left the in-laws and left his sons with some of the family, they were still just children and went back to work for the T&P railroad. Evidently he left no address for them and when died the railroad buried him where he died. He was a Confederate Veteran who fought from 1861 to 1865. He was at Gettysburg with Lee's Army, a private in the 13th Mississippi Infantry. He was captured there, but escaped and returned to his regiment. We have searched for a long time. I would certainly appreciate any help. I wrote the Gennet newspaper, but they (newspapers in general) seldom respond. If I had the address to their Genealogy Column someone there might look up the article. He was born in Connecticut in 1840 and died between 50 - 65 years of age somewhere in Texas.
