I have exhausted the online records available to me and I sure
would appreciate any bit of help you can give!!!
In the obituary below there are 3 surviving HASTY children:
(1) I cannot find Fannie's own son "NED" in any records and he was never listed as Ned on the censuses - in fact, 1910-1930 Marion Co Tx censuses show her own sons Robert and George T. lived at home and there was never any possible son or dtr named "Ned" on these censuses !
(2) who is "Mrs A J CARROLL of Longview" ???
Again the 1920-1930 Marion Co Tx censuses show Fannie's only daughter as "Mary E. born abt 1913" but I can't find a trace of her after 1930 (still at home) except for this obit. I'm ASSUMING Mary had to have married this A.J. Carroll after the 1930 census and before Jul 1939 ?
(3) The obituary names Fannie's 3 step-children: I have located step-son John K. but I've struck out finding "Bill"
(4) Step-dtr "Mrs J R HARRISON" must be dtr Willie B. born abt 1901 in Marion Co Tx and does not appear in her parents home 1920 Marion Co Tx so was probably married by then?
..........the best help I could get would be marriage records for these 4 chn - I would bet even $$ they married in Marion Co.
