Judy: I have checked Liberty County, Texas Cemeteries by Mrs. Mildred S. Wright & the only Fairchild I find is Wm. E. Fairchild, born 15 Feb. 1867 & died 8 Aug. 1895. He is buried in Sahara Cemetery, located "at end of dirt lane west side of county road 1410 [I believe that is now FM 1410], fenced, many old graves unmarked." This is south southeast of Devers. This book was published in 1977. If your Ruben Fairchild died in Liberty County, you might get someone at the courthouse to check for the death certificate. Depending upon the time period, it might give the cemetery name. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Kendon
