Many of my ancestors (MAY,DUNN,and BULWER) are buried in the cemetery adjacent to the ruins of St. Joseph church, which existed as the parish church for St. Joseph's parish from 1876-1912. I think you may be referring to an earlier church, a little log cabin church, since fallen to the ground, with a cemetery which I have been told is on private land, called the "old" Brushy cemetery, east of Yoakum. My great grandfather's oldest brother, Patrick Dunn, may be the Patrick Dunn buried in this cemetery in 1864. I seem to recall a Ryan tombstone mentioned or pictured. There was a photo of my relative's tombstone in a 1969 centennial history booklet on St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Yoakum. You may be able to find a location from that source. I did not believe it was close to the later ruined church and cemetery from what I understood.
