I am trying to find more information about the death and burial of my 4th G-Grandfather, Nathan A. Bryan and Nancy McDonnell Bryan. They last appear in census records on the 1870 census for Beat Four, Paris, Lamar, Texas, HH 219.

Nathan was born in Johnston, NC in 1788; Nancy was born in Guilford, NC in 1789. Nathan's father, Asa, fought at the Battle of Guilford Courthouse in the American Revolution.

This branch of the Bryans moved forst to Alabama, where their son Asa fought in the Civil war, then migrated to Lamar.

Both Nathan and nancy may have died in the same year, 1874, and likely buried in Lamar County.

They had three sons: Asa, Alexander, and James Eldridge, who may have had a twin brother, Joseph.
