JOSEPH BROOKS EACOCK (b)1851 in Hopton, Suffolk, England, emigrated, joining 2 brothers and a cousin in Lafayette,Ind. He married Sallie Huntsinger &their daughter Lessie Louise was born in 1888. In 1907 he was prospering (insurance, law?)& had a substantial house .In the 1910 Census they had relocated to OLA, Kaufman, Tx. farming until his death in 1938. He was buried in Morrow County Cem. Sallie died about 5 years later-cemetary unknown . Lessie Louise does not appear in the1920 Census .Two teachers were lodging in the 1920 Census . I would like to find more about their sudden change in fortune and why they were in farming for 30 years: also where Sallie was buried and what became of Lessie Louise - married name ?.
