I am searching for information concerning the Hiram Silvers family, living in Gonzales Co. in the 1860's. His wife was Mary Alice Parker. Their son, Charles Perry Silvers was my great-grandfather. Charles married Laura Wright in 1872. The only member of Hiram's family that I can find on the 1870 census is a son, John, age 18. I believe John was the young man accidently killed during a shoot-out. Any information about the Silvers family would be appreciated. LH
