Betty,

Hard study of my notes on Spartanburg, SC 1830 I find about three groups of Turners. The reason I have "zeroed in" on Spartanburg is because Sally Turner married Lemuel Walters in Spartanburg and believe her to be related to our Samuel since her daughter married Anglin.

I'll group these three into categories of:
1. Descendents of Revolutionary
Soldiers George and James Turner are
on pages 314-319
2. "Felix Turner Descendents" are on
around the 270's pages
3. Unknown Turners are on pages
254-256
Group 1 has a John, Middleton, William, Elijah, Henry and Samual
Group 2 has names unfamiliar to our family line
Group 3 has a John, Henry, Mathias and William

There is one other John listed near a Ransom Turner.

Group 1 seems to be well-researched but there still could be our Samuel Turner in there somewhere. This is the family of Paul Sarrett.

Group 2 does not look like any possibility due to names that are not in our family line.
The Felix Turner line seems well-researched.

Group 3 seems to be not researched?

Will know more when census arrives in 2 weeks.
