Apparently, there is oil locted on the old Reddin Gainer Survey in Freestone Co. This land is located about 1.7 miles from Fairfield. Gainer's name also appears in an 83 page document (p. 54) on the laws of TX 1820 - 1838. He receives payment for his term in the army. Go to google.com, and type "reddin gainer." There will be three or four documents, including the information above.
