I found your posting in the area of "Canadian, TX, Hemphill County, TX". I am a 1961 graduate of Canadian High School and was never aware of a high school in Canadian, or Hemphill County, named "Hemphill High School". Since returning to Texas approximately 10 years ago, I have become aware of a town in Southeast Texas named "Hemphill" that has no geographical relationship to Hemphill County. Perhaps that is the high school that your picture is from. Good luck!
