Hi Judi,

A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, he had resided here four years, coming from La Vernia, where he resided 60 years. Survivors are three sons, Louis Sexton of California, John and Will Sexton, both of this city; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Achterberg and Mrs. Louis Hibdon, both of this city.

FROM THE FLORESVILLE CHRONICLE-JOURNAL, AUGUST 30, 1929
LA VERNIA, TEXAS - August 25, 1929 - Mrs. F.M. Sexton, 80, a resident of this place for 30 years, died Sunday night. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon. Survivors include her husband, three sons, Will and Abe Sexton of San Antonio and Ed Sexton of Oklahoma; four daughters, Mrs. Henry Achterberg and Mrs. Louis Hibdon of La Vernia; Mrs. Joe Barker and another daughter in Oklahoma.

Judi, we do have a Louis H. Hibdon (11/27/1875 - 5/25/1950) and Emma A. Hibdon (7/7/1878 - 8/18/1955) buried in the Concrete Cemetery. Could Emma Hibdon be the Mrs. Louis Hibdon referred to in the obit?

Be sure and read the response that I wrote on this site regarding inquiries to the Newton Family and Concrete Cemetery.
Be sure and check our on-line Concrete Cemetery Census at: ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/tx/guadalupe/cemetery/concretecem.txt

I will be updating the (on-line census) site after January 1, 200l
