Sandra, didn't find much. 1870 Census of Leon Co.Texas H of H: C. Dorsett 39,Tx farmer wife:E.A. 36,Miss. dtr: T.E. 13,TX dtr:E.J.7, Tx ( Ella Josephine)***** son: W.H. 1, Tx 1880 Census of Leon Co.Texas Charles Dorsett 50, Tx, farmer Elzirah A. 46,Miss. Eliza J. 18, Tx William Henry 11,Tx I did find an Infant Child's death notice. "Infant of J.H.Nye March 9,1921 Jefferson Co.TX." In another place I saw; Ella Josephine Dorsett born March 26,1862 Centerville, Leon Co.TX. Did not find where she was married to Nye, but I read they married abt. 1885, she was age 24 at that time.
