Hi Steven, I do have some information or copies of things that Jack Newton of Chamblee, GA. shared with me some years ago on members of the large Newton Family. I don't think there is that much info on the Wooten Family. I will give you Jack's address if you will send me an e-mail at shirleygrammer@aol.com Jack has been in the hospital but he may be o.k. by now. Another person you can get in touch with is Robert Canfield of San Antonio who also descends from Joel Wooten Newton, son of Betsy and Joshua. I have done quite a bit of research on James Henry Newton and Joel's famiy because they are buried in our Concrete Cemetery. On April 22nd of this year, we had the Concrete Cemetery Sesquicentennial and had a large group of people. I compiled a book with information on the cemetery and used a picture of James Henry Newton in the very front of the little book. It was neat and we sold them at the sesquicentennial. Over the years I have discovered a number of the Newton descendants buried in the cemetery. Write me at my e-mail address and I will give you the address of the above mentioned Newton researchers.
