1850 Census for Guadalupe County Texas, unknown township. Page 295, Household 120:

Emma Age 1 Born in Texas
Next door in Household 121 was his brother John age 24 and his wife Sophia age 21 and in the next household 122 was his brother Sebastian age 26 and his wife Elizabeth age 20. Neither had any children yet. Both were farmers and all four were shown as born in France.
