I am related to Eliza McNutt Sanders who married Uriah Sanders on 11-17-1836 in Austin County, Texas. They had 3 children, he was in the war with Mexico in 1836 and his name is carved on the monument to the Battle of San Jacinto in San Jacinto State Park near Houston, Texas. Eliza McNutt was born 10-1-1819 in Maury County, TN and died on 1-25-1836 in Hutto, Texas. Eliza McNutt was the first child of Major Robert McNutt, buried in Hutto, Texas. Their 3 children were:
1. Robert Peter Sanders b. 8-25-1837, d. 2-21-1861. He married Sarah Susanna Levy 2-21-1861 and they had 7 children. (more info available if needed)
2. George Sanders...ran away from home at the age of 14. He went to the Civil War and was never heard from again.
3. Nancy Uriah Sanders b. 1842, d. 1874, buried at Lake Victor, Lampasas Co, Texas. She married Albert Calhoun Taylor b. 1837, d. 1900 they had 6 children (more info if needed)

My more info consists of names and ages, probably from a census record. This info is in a binder of family records trusted to me by my elders. Your e-mail was so long ago, I am not even sure you will see this. You might have this info by now. I would like to know where Eliza McNutt Sanders and Uriah Sanders are buried if you know. DeDe Sullivan I am related to the McNutts.
