Not related; curious if the Thorp line was also in early Grayson Co., TX. I found this in genealogybank.com site which had several items including society notes for Anna Wingrove and daughter Ida besides this obit:

Wingrove Rites To Be Held Today
Fort Worth, Sept. 13: Funeral services for C. H. WINGROVE, 52, Fort Worth civic leader and prominent business man, who died suddenly Friday morning at his home, 511 South Ballinger St., will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the residence. The body will be taken to Denison, his birthplace for burial. Mr. Wingrove was a past president of the Fort Worth Rotary Club and was president of the club’s boys educational loan fund, of which he was one of the sponsors…. Director at various times of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce… school board member… member of the local Masonic Lodge and of the Fort Worth Club. Survivors are his wife, a son C. H. WINGROVE Jr., and two sisters, Mrs. ARTHUR MCGARR of Muskogee, Okla., and Mrs. TOM HOGG of Denison.
