Researching James Ervin Case who died 11/22/1965 in Talco, TX.
He was son of James E. Case, born Sept. 1860 in Mississippi and Ida (last name unknown) born June 1866 in Alabama, according to 1900 Census of Franklin County, TX.
James and Ida Case had six children: dau Jimmie, dau Lidya, son Whit, dau Minnie (these four born in Louisiana) and son James Ervin and son Coye, the latter two being born in Texas.
He registered for the World War I draft in 1818 in Franklin County, TX. He married a woman named Lou Whitford, date and place unknown. One day he simply "walked out the door" and never returned.
Any help appreciated.
