On list of old post offices for Texas, there was a Lone Cedar from March 1901, discontinued June 1904 with instructions for mail to be sent to Frost.
From Handbook of Texas online:
LONE CEDAR, TEXAS. Lone Cedar is on Farm Road 55 eight miles southeast of Italy in southern Ellis County. Between 1901 and 1904 it had a post office. The population was eighteen in 1986 through 2000.

Hope this helps.
