Even if there is an obit located in the library at Eastland - it will not give youu the information you are after unless he was a big deal in town- You would be lucky to even have his death mentioned - I live outside of Abilene and therefore do not go to the Eastland Library but the Abilene I located them in the 1880 census in Eastland and can tell you at least one item: Marriage Book 1 Brides: Gibbs, A.E. - Hamer, J.H. 9/34/1881 pg 131 by W.L. Andrews MG That was the only Gibbs listed in the book I could not locate them in 1900 - Hope it helps some, Betty
