Hey Judy, thanks for the response.
I did find out the early location of Hicks,it was abt 10 miles northwest of Ft. Worth. It was a community built, abt 1900, around a railroad switch ,on a ranch owned by Charles Hicks. This area of Hicks was the headquarters for the Royal Canadian Flying Corps in World War I .The site was originally called Taliaferro Field by the Canadians and was renamed Hicks Field when the United States entered World War One.The field was closed in 1921. Now, I just need to try and find out if there are any burial records from 1911 of Hicks.I have been searching thru Fort Worth, but so far, nothing. The certificate I have, list Susan Owens ,430 Samuels Ave, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as being buried 1911,Oct 13 at Hicks Station.
Again , thanks for your response.
