I placed the below posting in October and received a couple of good replies, but still searching. Alfred and Minerva (Bright) Anderson, both born in Kentucky, Alfred also found using (Allen) as his first name and wife Minerva also found using (Minnie) as her first name, married in Missouri. Alfred served in Civil War Honorably discharged in Arkansas after 3 years of service. Made their home and raised 5 children in Knox County Missouri. An old letter I found from their oldest son Frank explains that Alfred and Minerva got in there wagon and went to Denton County Texas and supposedly died there about 1887? Franks words in his letter was that they "just went" and wasn't heard from after....
I would really appreciate someones effort in finding Alfred and Minerva Anderson, I do have the Missouri Census In search of Information in search of their Texas (Denton County) connection....
Again, Thank You In Advance!
I have just learned that this couple had moved to Denton County Texas sometime after 1880 and purchased land, from OLD letters of deceased family members....No one knows the date of death or where, one letter from their son Frank states that they died in Denton County, Texas? Can anyone help me by look ups or cemetery searhes? Alfred F.C. was born abt. 1818. Minerva was b. abt. 1828....
In advance, Thank You!
