I am looking for information on Pinkney Joel Webb and Willie Mae (Conner) Webb of Coryell County.
I believe (but can not document) that there is a relationship to James T. Webb (possible father) or Joseph Webb (possible gfather).
We know that the 1880 census (Series T9, Roll 1298, p. 434) that Joseph (age 60) and James (age 31) lived in Dwelling 136 / Family 136, next to John Conner (age 22, father of Willie Mae), Dwelling 135 / Family 135.
We know that James T. Webb was born in Missouri, and Joseph was born in Tennessee.
We know that P.J. Webb was married to Willie Conner in 1900, where he appears in the J.H. Conner household in the census (Series T623, Roll 1624, p. 81B, Dwelling 140 / Family 144). It shows that his father was born in Missouri (motherís birthplace is not legible, at least to me).
We know that Pink J. Webb lived in Tom Green County, Texas by 1910. That census showed that they had 4 children, two of which had died, and lists Pinkís father as being from Mississippi and his mother from Texas (Series T624, Roll 1592, p. 137B).
We know that a Floy Webb (male) died 7/11/1907 in Coryell County, aged 4 months, but I donít know the cemetery or the parents. We know that a female Webb baby died 2/21/1909 in Coryell County, aged 14 days, but I donít know the cemetery or the parents.
Pink does not show up in any index, list, or internet posting as being connected to James that I have been able to locate.
Does anyone have any information on either family?
