Hi Angie! I've been doing some research for a story I'm writing and ran across your post. Here is what I know...

The Wylie train depot was located on the corner of Ballard and Highway 78. It was built in the late 1800s and its location prompted the town of Nickelville to relocate a half a mile north, changing the name to Wylie (a right-of-way agent for the railraod company). Today, the location is a church parking lot. The old railroad, or at least the part of the Golf Colorao & Sante Fe Railway that serviced the depot was replaced with a highway (SH 78). The rails were removed and a piece of the Cotton Belt railroad was used instead to route trains around Wylie instead of through it. During my research I ran across an old article which indicated that the depot had been sold at some point. I drove around and spotted it on College St in Wylie, within view of its former home.

After more research, I was able to find a picture of a depot from Killeen, Texas. The Killeen depot was a replica of the Wylie depot. You cab find a picture of that depot here:

As far as the fate of the depot you're looking for, it has been converted to a triplex apartment/house and sits at 105, 107, and 109 College St. in Wylie. I took some pitcures which are fun to compare to the Killen photos.
