Dear H Williamson, Have you found the ancestor you were looking for? The name of the book I referred to in my previous post is: Record of Interments in the National Cemetery at Alexandria, Louisiana and a Brief History of Fort Brown, Texas by Chula & Sam Griffith & Bruce Aiken. There are copies in some of the Rio Grande Valley libraries. I saw a copy at the Brownsville Public Library, Brownsville, Tx. The Brownsville Herald wrote about the move of the cemetery in an article dated, Sunday, March 22, 1936. Please let me know your progress. I'm interested. SVC
