There is an excellent book, 'Indianola - The Mother of Western Texas' by Brownson Malsch.
It has lots of information on all aspects of Indianola.
There are lots of maps and pictures also.
There is a lithographed picture of the town plots but it is so small I doubt if you could tell from it where the lots you are looking for are.
There are several maps of different kinds of Indianola and the surrounding area.
However, it was copied from a map at University of Texas at Austin, Barker Texas History Center, so perhaps you could get an enlargement from them.
I did not find your great grandfather's name mentioned in the book but there are lots of names, ships, businesses etc listed so maybe you could find a connection.
The book is a historical book so it may not be checked out at least it isn't at our library but you might could get a copy on interlibrary loan.
