There is a story told by James Ira Taylor that his grandfather Taylor was a Hardin. He was the brother of John Wesley Hardin the outlaw and that they were on a train and he got off and told John wesley he was through and he was staying in Brownwood, Brown Co. TX and changeing his name. so it was changed to Taylor. Has anyone else heard this story? I am researching John Thomas Taylor b. 15 Sep 1870 TX d. 17 Mar 1934 Cottle Co.
