William R. Hensley was a surveyor and had land in Brazoria County at Damon Mounds. He was in Texas prior to 1830. Does someone know the names of his children? He was said to have William Travis as his house guest for the year prior to Travis' death at the Alamo and named his son who was born 6 days later after Travis. I think that he is my great-great grandfather, but can't prove it.
