A Texas birth record for Mattie Elizabeth White lists her parents as William Clinton White and Nancy Lucindy Adams. Mattie was born 2 October 1883 at Bastrop, Bastrop, Texas. Nancy was the mother of 9 children, 6 still living. Her father's name was John Adams. She was buried at Eckert, Texas , and the undertaker looks like M H Beckerman(?).
