I am still interested in finding the burial site of my great great grandmother Nancy. She is the daughter of Arthur Patterson whose relative Arthur Patterson senior was apparently the model for Mel Gibson's Patriot movie. Nancy and Mark S. Cooper came over from Christmasville, TN[carroll co} as did her father. Mark and Nancy married about 1849 if memory serves me well, in Leon Co,TX. They are shown on the 1850 census along with 5 mo old daughter Elizabeth A Cooper, Nancy's father is not with them. Later they had another child, Nathan, my great grandfather who is buried at Dew, Freestone Co. As Nancy married twice more and was then shown living with her brother in Austin Co, TX I figure she is buried somewhere in that county.
