I found a 1850 US Census record for Angelina County, TX that has Charles H Delaney 40, Frances 33, Alexander 17, Martha 16, Teophilus or Leophilus? 14, Frances (Fannie?) 13, Emily 10, another name I can't read Larrey or Lanney maybe 8, Tenniper 6, and Sarah 4, and Charly 2. So if this is your Delaneys then it sounds like the parents were Charles and Frances Delaney. Let me know if you have found more information about this bunch. I know Frances (Fannie-the daugher of Charles and Frances) married a Fredrick Freeman in 1866. Before that she is known (but can't find records to show) to have married James W. Bridges and when he went off to Civil and didn't return for seven years she married Mr. Freeman. The Angelina county marriage records show and Elizabeth Bridges marrying Fredrick Freeman. I also know that they moved to Ennis, TX with Marth Delaney McNabb and her husband Jabe. But Jabe and Martha returned to Angelina County.
