Hi Beth, Your query caught my interest as I know of David Twiss and his wife Isabelle Newhall. They were married in Peabody, MA and had children. He died fairly young and his widow remarried. She continued to live in Peabody. I can find a good home for the bible you have. No, I am not descended from David Twiss but a distant line from his. We both have the same common ancestor, Peter Twiss of Salem, MA. I will be glad to pay for the shipping costs if you want to send me the bible.
