Interested in Robert TURNBULL born c 1812 in Kirkandrews. Probably married Louisa Philipine MAES in Clinton Gloucestershire in Dec qtr 1844. May have had dtr Louisa Mary Ann (reg. Cambridge Sep qtr 1845) who went on to marry Thomas SPEAKMAN Definitely had dtrs Ellen 1846 Cambridge; Sarah 1849 Keighley Yorkshire; son Robert 1852 Whitchurch Shropshire (married Kate MORTEN, knighted 1913); dtr Edith c 1854 Whitchurch, Salop; son Walter c 1856 Whitchurch (married Rosetta someone, lived Frodsham and Handsworth); and dtr Mabel M 1860 Wybunbury Cheshire. Want to prove he is the son of Robert TURNBULL and Eleanor SCOTT of Nichol Forest Cumberland.
