I'm not having much luck with two of the very brave women in this line. Eliza - 1st wife of Ransom Tullos/Tullis (Ransom died in 1900 and is buried beside 2nd wife Malissa in Oakville, Live Oak County, Texas)
--- and the other woman I'd like to find is Mary - wife of James Tullos/Tullis (James is buried in Oakville also but the Mary who many family trees have as his wife is, I believe, a child)
These women were strong women and I'd like to find what happened to them. Some say Mary, Pearcy's mother was Choctaw. Perhaps some of you will help me to find factual information. The spelling of Tullos is often misspelled on Census records as Pullis/Tullow/Tullis/Sullor/Tullous I have had some luck searching the Winters family as I know they were friends and James and Mary's daughter married James Winters, Jr in old Waverly 1837 and she is on the tax roll for 1837 and 1838 in Washington County, Tx.
The Cude family is also found on many records close to the Tullos family near Huntsville, and Live Oak County. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
