Hi Lisa, Read your notices with interest.My family came from Poplar moving there from Sampford Peverell,Devon in the early 1850's.James Trevillion,chr 20.11.1824 in Sampford married Mary Ann Pillar in 1847.Numerous children followed,William 1849,Sarah Jane 1851 both born at Sampford,Edward abt 1854,John abt1856,Charles abt 1859,James abt1861,Henry 4.11.1862,Ellen abt 1865,Ann abt 1867 and Frederick abt 1869, all born in Poplar. My line comes from Henry.James his father was the son of William christened 11th.Sept. 1791 and Sarah Goffin who married 22nd.Feb.1824 at Sampford Peverell. Family "legend" has it that three brothers left Sampford together to seek their fortune in London. The Trevillions are still in Sampford.
