If Sanford was born in VT, instead of VA he is probably a member of Tracy Family, Lt Thomas Tracy of Norwich CT. I am not sure right now where or if he comes in at the moment. http://worldconnect.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=:ag429&id=I0621 The above link is another file where he was born in VA, which is about the same as your file except added info on Michael Frederick Tracy. We have another website in the Tracy Family which covers most of the english side of the family and some irish, if you are interested.
