It's been a while since I last saw it. I'll tell you what I remember about it. It's pretty gruesome, by todays standard. The main part I remember is that Toth is Hungarian. The main part of the crest is an arm coming from viewer's right covered in a blue sleeve with a sword that looks like a scimitar. On the tip of the sword is a severed Turks head. Above this image is an angel. There's other parts I can't remember. The severed head does tend to stick, though. ;-) The Turk's head represents that the Toth family fought the Turks who were invading at the time. It's an old crest. I can't find anything about this anywhere on the web. They all say that they have real coats of arms, but if you read farther in they say that it's actually generic. |
