James Alexander SPARKMAN was born in Franklin, Williamson CO TN @ 1854 or 1855. Father was James SPARKMAN and mother was Jane THOMPSON Sparkman. Mother had younger brother, Richard THOMPSON, one year older than J.A. SPARKMAN. Seek information on James and Jane Sparkman. James Alexander sent to work Uncle's tanyard during WBTS. Left with Uncle Dick Thompson afoot to MO after War @1867-68.
