I would like to learn more about the Fox (and Knight) families of Tennessee. Specifically I am looking for family information about those settled in and around LBL, Dover and the lake region. My grandfather was Clyde Manarcus Fox, married to Lorene Ruby Knight. They had several children: Edward, James Layton, Charles, Linda, Ellen, Bobby Gene, Anna Mae and a few more who did not survive childhood. This family lived in the LBL region until the land was claimed for a nature park. Many relocated to the Mayfield, Ky region of West Ky. I have always been told that a majority of the bloodline is of Cherokee Indian descent and I would like to learn more about this as well. GrandDad lived to be approximately 90 years old, passing away in 1994. GrandMa passed in approximately 1978. Both are buried within LBL on a small family heritage cemetery plot, I'm not sure, but I think the cemetery could be Mount Olive though I cannot say for certain. It is a very rural cemetery on a dirt road within LBL with about 100 plots. I believe there was quite a bit of close relationships with the Knight family. The families lived close the Golden Pond area of LBL. Any information on families in the area of LBL will be appreciated! Thank you! Anna Maria Fox
