Thanks so much for the reply and assistance. However, any information posted on the first web page link you copied (red me on is very suspect and may be wrong in regards to James Green Sr. being a direct line from Gardner Green as I have learned from a Green family researcher and a direct descendant of Timothy Wilson Green. Simply no proof. The eldest Green female child of James Green/Mary was Mary Green and she did marry my g-g-grandfather William Miner Henson, had 16 Henson children.

However, William Miner Henson is not a descendant of the Rev. War vet William H. Henson. (and same William Henson of the famous Seven Henson brothers married seven sisters letter in Texas State Archives.)Any web site information stating William Miner Henson is down line from that Henson line is wrong.

As my father the (last male Henson of his Henson generation) that we know of took the famlytreedna 37 marker dna test and it does not match that William H. Henson line.

Thus any web page that shows William Miner Henson, b. 1807 unknown county TN, d. 1866 Smith County, TX. to be down from that William H. Henson is wrong.

Note: James Green Sr. family and William Miner Henson families were close and connected. No proof yet but most likely lived near each other in TN, hence Mary Green married William Miner Henson. Hensons moved to Blount County, AL, late 1830s and are on the US census there 1840, but I have not seen the James Green family there until 1850.

Green and Henson families living near one another on 1850 census. Brother of Mary, Timothy Wilson Green, is also living nearby. On same census. Census for Blount County, AL, taken Oct 23, 1850, then Henson family moved to Smith County, TX, and 1st Henson child (last five of 16 Henson kids were born Texas) born in November 1850.

Mary Green Henson died June 1860, age 39, her mother Mary is shown to be living with William Miner Henson family on 1860 census for Smith County TX.

Two of the Henson girls Winneford/Winnafred and Alice later married two of Timothy Wilson Green's sons, James Green and Elijah Green. Hence two sisters married two brothers but they were also 1st cousins to each other. Moreover the 1870 census shows son of William and Mary Henson, James Henson living with Timothy Wilson Green family. Really close knit family the Greens and Henson.
