In the 1860 census of Van Buren County, there is a listing for Harrison Madewell. In this home, there is a Francis Philips (female, age 50) and William Philips (male, age 18). Does anyone have info on the Philips? I think they could be my great-grandfather and great-great-grandmother. I'd appreciate any info or suggestions for research. Jim Riley jameshrile@aol.com
