In one of my papers it states" It appears by the records of cumberland County(vol 33,p357) that Andrew , Joseph, Benjamin and Henry Titcomb, 27 Aug 1800, conveyed to Moses titcomb all their interest in the real estate in Portland of their late mother Anne(Everts and Pecks History of Cumberland County) ) Benjamin was born the fourth son of Deacon Benjamin and Anne (pearson) Titcomb, in Portland on July 26, 1761. Other info shows him still established as living and working as a printer in Falmouth in 1785. About 1785 he left printing and began to preach to a small Baptist society gatherd in Portland, the first meetings were in Mr Titcomb's house. In 1804 he removed to Brunswick and became pastor of the Baptist church he retired from the pulpit at the age of 83 after 40 years of minestry in Brunswick. He died at home in Brunswick on Federal Street, Sept 30,1848(the Press of Maine 33-4). Hope this is of some help to you Good Luck, Linda
