Keith, My ggg-grandfather was Sampson Tippen, and he was from Anderson,Co.,S.Carolina. He lived and died in S.C. but he did have a brother named William that that I belive went to Ga. They were both the sons of John Tippen. John Tippen also had a brother named William. We are kin through one or the other. James D.Tippen II
