While trying to find family on the West Virginia State website http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/ I found a death record for Albin in Ohio Co., WV. He died on April 20, 1918 and his occupation is listed as a retired Farmer, but there is a lot of missing information on the record. From the website, you can download electronic copies of birth, death, and marriage records for selected years for selected counties. For example, death records are available for 1917 to 1954 for most counties, while they are available for 1853 to 1970 for Harrison County. Birth and Marriage records are not as available.
